The purpose of the Public Safety Committee is being revised to reflect the updated needs of the University.

Purpose

To advise the President, the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, through the Chief of Police, on matters of campus public safety including:

International Visitors - Guidelines for

Introduction

Academic visitors and distinguished guests from abroad, including delegations from universities and research institutions, may approach Humboldt State University to be a collaborative partner in academic programs. These distinguished visitors should be accorded appropriate courtesy and recognition during their visits; it is essential that there be campus-wide knowledge of these visits and involvement with key offices in the planning of itineraries.

Enrollment Management Advisory Committee

(Supersedes VPAA 00-05 & P98-06)Charge:

The charge to the Enrollment Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) is to provide oversight for all issues directly affecting the enrollment and retention of students at HSU and to make recommendations to the president, the Academic Senate and the University Executive Committee on ways that we can retain, increase and improve the number and quality of students who enroll at HSU. The EMAC reports to the president.
